I experienced chest pain every time I breathe last week but I didn’t mind it. I thought it was just because I’m tired, that I lack sleep. Last Sunday morning on my way home, I couldn’t breathe. And every time I breathe, I felt the pain in my left chest up to my back. That’s why I called someone to bring me home. I slept when I arrived at home hoping to feel nothing when I wake up but it didn’t happen.
When the night arrives, I went to Zirkoh – Quezon Ave. to relax a bit. The videoke masters, especially Osang with guest Tuesday Vargas, were really funny that I laughed the whole night without thinking of my condition. I even drink a few bottles of beer. I did enjoy the time in that comedy bar!
When I wake up last Monday, the pain was still there. I still managed to go SM North to buy our groceries. When we arrived home, it was even more painful. My friends told me to go to the doctor because my condition might be heart-related. I didn’t go to office that nice and decided to rest for my checkup in the morning.
It was 8:00 am when I with my mother went to Philippine Heart Center to see a cardiologist. My ECG result states that my condition was not heart-related. My cardiologist, Dr. James Ho, advised me to have my x-ray and return to him as soon as possible. I could say that he’s really friendly that he accommodates his patients well. The medicines given to me did help in fading away pain. So thankful it was not related to heart but I’m still curious to know what’s with all the chest and back pain I feel. I hope it’s not lung-related either, hope it’s not that worse…hope it’s just a simple pain caused by stress or tension in my work.
