My friend and I went to Asilo de San Vicente de Paul the other week to submit a letter regarding our outreach activity because we decided to choose the said place for our outreach this December 9, 2007, 1pm onwards. CTU Inter-Active (CTU IA) and Black Texters Society merged just for this activity. We want our Christmas to be different by reaching out to children and making them happy. This is our first outreach activity.
ASILO DE SAN VICENTE DE PAUL HISTORY:
The ground and college were donated to the sisters of charity for the education of poor girls by Asuncion Ventura, a native of Pampanga herself a sister of charity. The institution was inaugurated on July 26, 1885 and gained great distinction for the design and excellence of its embroidery and needlework. Asilo de San Vicente de Paul is an orphanage now with 51 children ranges from 4-16 years old headed by Sis. Mely Espineli D.C.
